Week 2 – User Research

  • DUE in class to be graded: Assignment 1's chosen prompt, chosen mobile app, draft of research methods (submit in-class using Google Forms)
  • in-class activity: your TA will go over your research methods draft in-person and approve/adjust it

Week 3 – User Research

Monday – Oct 14

  • Lecture: how to write background, user research, and problem statement; importance of storytelling in both text and visuals
  • Lecture slides
  • rationale for attendance policy
  • in-class user research on classmates (if there is time)

  • DUE in class to be graded: Assignment 1's Problem Statement (submit in-class using Google Forms)
